Iron Curtain has the honor to be so far the first and only DVD magazine of Ecuador. A media that has combined rock journalism mature and objective visual quality production. This is a means that every rock metalhead outstanding that must be appreciated to possess, not merely as a consumer, but to be part of national history in each number you write visually (if you can figure as such).
The work, rescue and keep the memory fresh rock of Ecuador is not a simple task, but someone had to do well by this team of professionals (and because I know I can write with certainty) that promptly took the baton. Especially since it is a product (like most rockers media: self-financed) but it has the financial backing of the Ministry of Culture of the country, giving it an added value of appreciation to national metal rock movement.
few days ago I got the last three numbers (all from 2010. Perhaps here the filmmakers should include the exact date of each issue to have a more accurate chronology of the editions) and I have left as the first time: awe, respect and know that I am most proud of belonging to this culture.
From Iron Curtain # 11 concert reviews (Hell's Angels and Sal and I have captured Miletus) video clips of Narcosis, Kanhiwara (a band that I have it in sight ) Resistance, Dementia and Runk (not metal, but fun) biographies Total Demolition and death, and historical video Jaime Guevara, in addition to the discography (either by fellow Réplika displayed in this issue) make a whole amazing.
From Iron Curtain # 12 reviews of the three concerts of the week of rock (Quito, Guayaquil and El Coca) and the Harmony fest give a sense of superiority metalhead rock movement in Ecuador. Anima video clips inside, Nirodha, Konsens Aggressive (I get the impression that the recording and the concept itself is "out of control") Voodoo Mama (introspective, hugging, and to fly to a meeting individual emotional) and Kien. Finally in Iron Curtain # 13 emphasized the development of rock concerts in the tri-colored keys: San Antonio Rock and Quito fest. But ignoring the Iron Curtain is a detail that is fundamental in the segment called Push (which is responsible for reassessing the contribution of rockers who have been playing the bands are from their role as producers, shopkeepers, editors and media) does not appear the names of the respondents (except when they themselves presented).
